Make a birthday game for your coworker

Blowing out the candles is fine. Dodging rogue candles in a game about yourself is better. The office card has seventeen signatures and one “who is this?”. Make your coworker something they’ll actually remember: a game where they’re the hero.

Our pick: flappy flyer with the Birthday theme. Your coworker dodge balloons and rogue candles, grab cake and presents, and the game finishes with a trophy ending carrying your own message. Every line is pre-written and funny out of the box, and you can change any of it.

Tips for the perfect birthday game

  • Pop the QR code inside a birthday card for a proper reveal.
  • Share the link in the team channel and use the leaderboard as an office tournament.
  • Set the win level to their age. It’s funny at 8 and absolutely brutal at 80.

Birthday game for your coworker: FAQ

How do I make a birthday game for my coworker?

Pick a game style and the Birthday theme in the app, play it free with demo characters, then upload a photo of your coworker to turn them into cartoon characters. Name the game, pick a link like yourname.become.games and send it. It takes about five minutes.

Can the game show their age?

Yes. Use the {age} placeholder in any line, or set the win level to their age so they have to score that many points to reach the cake-smash ending.

Can the whole team play the same game?

Yes. Anyone with the link can play, and every game has a leaderboard, so it turns into a friendly office tournament fast. Each player sets a nickname, which goes through our moderation filters.

Can I make a birthday game at the last minute?

Absolutely. Building takes a couple of minutes and characters are ready in one or two more, so you can make it on the morning of the birthday. We won’t tell.

How much does it cost?

Making, playing and publishing games is free. To turn your own photos into characters you need a plan: £3.49 a month (2 characters in month one) or £19.99 a year (10 characters up front). Plans also unlock custom game links. Cancel any time.
