- 🏖️ Retirement
Golf balls and pints in the retirement look suit a postcard from a town built around golf.
Put this in
“Lost four balls on the Old Course. Found my dream retirement.”
St Andrews is known worldwide as the home of golf, has Scotland's oldest university and a beach you might remember from Chariots of Fire. Run along West Sands humming the tune: everyone does.
A photo of the Old Course says “I was here”. A game says “I was here, I thought of you, and I made you this”. Choose any game style and look, type “St Andrews” as where it’s from, and send the link.
Whether you played it or just stood on the Swilcan Bridge for a photo, a postcard game is a fun way to brag.
Red gowns, the May Dip and the pier walk. Send one home so they know you're having a very St Andrews time.
Leaving them at halls is emotional. A playable postcard is a light way to say you're proud and already miss them.

Idea 2
A run, jump and collect game with exam papers and coffee is perfect for student life in an ancient university town.
Put this in
“Lectures, library, pier walk, repeat. Mum, I'm fine.”
Idea 3
A runner is made for West Sands, the beach from Chariots of Fire, with summer gulls to jump and beach balls to grab.
Put this in
“Ran West Sands in slow motion. The seagulls were not impressed.”
Ending messages to steal
Landmarks to name-drop
The game shows the place name and your message, not these landmarks: the Postcard look’s far-off silhouettes are generic. Your words do the sightseeing.
Free to build and play with our demo characters. To send it, star your own people (drawn from a photo with a plan); publishing and the link are free. See pricing or read how it works.
No. The game is titled “Greetings from St Andrews” and ends with a postcard showing the place name in big retro letters and your message, but it doesn’t draw the Old Course. The Postcard look has far-off landmark silhouettes, but they’re generic, not St Andrews’s. That’s what your jokes and message are for: mention the Old Course in a line and they’ll picture it.
Keep it short and specific: one place, one moment, one sign-off. For example: “Stood on the Swilcan Bridge like a pro. Then I saw the price of a round. Love you.”
Yes. Build and try it free with demo characters, then upload a photo to turn yourself (and whoever you’re with) into cartoon characters, which needs a plan. Everyone in the photo must agree, and the photo is deleted once the characters are made.
Making, playing and publishing it is free, and every published game gets its own permanent link. To turn your own photos into cartoon characters, or to give the game a custom link like yourname.become.games, you need a plan: £3.49 a month or £19.99 a year. Cancel any time.
Pick the Postcard occasion, type where it’s from, write the message on the back and share the link. It plays on any device, no download.
